The whole cottage is yours - all the facilities: cottage lounge, kitchen, bedrooms and dining.
Self-catering accommodation is available for a minimum of 2 nights, but check the calendar for details. Book securely with us to avoid any agency or commission charges.
Double or twin bedrooms are available in Post Office Cottage, plus a cot if required. Bearing in mind it was built in about 1760, the stairs are quite steep, and the guest shower room is downstairs, but totally private.
Each of the two main rooms have their own separate stairs. (The optional extra top floor room is accessed through the twin room via a narrow, winding staircase.) We recommend a maximum of 4 guests, but you can bring an extra 2 by request, so long as they are good friends or close relations!
Guests have exclusive use of the entire stone cottage with inglenook fireplaces & wood-burning stove, plus fully equipped modern kitchen.

We are sorry - we are no longer hosting Bed and Breakfast in the cottage, just self-catering.
Please note that we removed the multi-fuel stove in January 2024 as we were increasingly concerned for our guests’ health and the damage that can be done to the environment by particle pollution. Please see revised pictures of the new lounge layout here.
