Worth Matravers is a small coastal village just a mile inland from the rugged, beautiful south coast of the Isle of Purbeck.  It’s the hub of a number of coastal walks to many of the sights illustrated below, and is a key stop-off on the South West Coast Path - many of our guests have celebrated their last night in Post Office Cottage before completing the 630 mile trip!

The coastline is a mix of Purbeck and Portland stone

cliffs, sheltered bays and rolling countryside.
